Giving Thanks: A Native American Morning Message

This beautifully illustrated book is a tribute to the earth; words based on the "Thanksgiving Address" which is an ancient message of peace and appreciation of Mother Earth and all of her inhabitants. These words of thanks come from the Iroquois or Six Nations, one of which is the Mohawk tribe. The author, Chief Jake Swamp, is the founder of the Tree of Peace Society which is an organization that promotes peace and conservation. A real gem!
