How to Heal a Broken Wing
Bob Graham, Candlewick Press 2008

Such a lovely book! Told mainly in wonderful illustrations - a bird flies against a window of a skyscraper & falls to the ground with a broken wing. Noone notices but a small boy, who with his parents brings the bird home and nurses it to health and then releases it to soar again. This is a "must read' for any peace curriculum.
